The Hanson Gallery is currently featuring artisans of northeastern Pennsylvania and the surrounding regions. We are committed toward presenting fine art and home décor for the beautification of homes and businesses, not only to interior decorators, museums and educators, but to collectors and the general public as well.

We feature accomplished sculptors and potters in metal, stone and clay. We have painters of oil, pastel, acrylic and watercolors along with fine silver and extraordinary metals from jewelry craftsman. There is digital photography to capture the imagination and wood, fabric and paper artisans, all of whom are accredited with the finest quality of craftsmanship.  

The Hanson Gallery is now accepting submissions from artists for future shows.  Artists  are invited to submit images of paintings, drawings, original photography, mixed media, sculptures, pottery, wood, glass and jewelry, via digital disc, email jpegs or by appointment only.

Policy and Guidelines

The Hanson Gallery has an open submission policy, accepting work year round.  We encourage artists to submit work based on upcoming exhibition themes though you may also submit work to the gallery as a general submission. 

Currently, we are curating the following upcoming exhibitions

Christmas Collection 12" x 12"

Deadline: October 19, 2009
Exhibition runs November 25, 2009  to January, 2010
Small Works- artwork that is no larger than 12” in any dimension.
With your submission, please include your brief resume, artist statement, cover letter, and artwork detail list (including title, medium, dimensions, and artist’s compensation expected for of each piece submitted) with up to 20 images.

Artist’s Material

Please use text only files. Word docs are preferable. Total file size for all artist materials must not exceed 2 MB.

Images

File Formats: .jpg, pdf
File dimensions must not exceed 600 pixels W x 600 pixels H.
Individual File size must not exceed 2MB.

Name the file the title of your image, for example "imagetitle.jpg"
